President and Chief Executive Officer of PURE Risk Management, LLC, Ross Buchmueller founded AIG Private Client Group in 1999 and served as its President until starting PURE Risk Management in 2006. Under Ross’s leadership, AIG Private Client Group grew to approximately $500 million of gross written premium with consistent underwriting profit over six years. Prior to joining AIG, Ross spent 12 years with the Chubb Group of Insurance companies, serving as Senior Vice President of Chubb Insurance Company of Europe. In 2004, Crain’s New York included Ross in its annual "40 under Forty" feature of New York’s rising stars.
